Our Ukrainian guests may have left their homes with little more than a small suitcase and will have the need for many basic items upon arrival here.
We would welcome contributions to meet these needs, however small. These donations will also help with other expenses including transport, running drop-in sessions, language classes, staging events etc. In addition, if you have an idea for a fundraiser, we would be delighted to receive the proceeds.
OASISS is a community initiative with a governing committee. It has a restricted account within It Takes a City charity’s accounts (for more information go to https://www.ittakesacity.org.uk/). All gifts will go into this account; there will be robust oversight of the spending of any money donated, and full transparency under ITAC’s financial statements. Any surplus donations will be given to the Disaster Emergency Committee (https://www.dec.org.uk/).
