Stapleford Parish Council and Stapleford Tennis Club have joined together to offer 80 hours of free tennis and basketball sessions at Stapleford MUGA (multi-use games area) located at the Stapleford Recreation Ground (off Gog Magog Way/Haverhill Road) over the school summer holiday period. The scheme is open to the Ukrainian refugees living locally and local low-income households. Free sessions are open for booking from 12-2pm from Monday through to Thursday the following weeks:

Mon 1 – Thu 4 Aug
Mon 15 – Thu 18 Aug
Mon 22 – Thu 25 Aug
Mon 29 Aug – Thu 1 Sep

A box of donated tennis racquets and balls will be available at MUGA for use during booked sessions. Please return them to the box immediately after use. The scheme will work on a first come first serve basis and by trust. Please only book a max of one free hour of play per day and do not book a free slot if you have the financial means to pay.
Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance and must be cancelled with a minimum 24 hours notice, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the booking, tennis nets will remain in place at all times.
